Raymond Cornelius GOULD

Ray made his way out of our lives after a short battle with a vicious cancer.

Predeceased by sister Ann, four Brothers Tom,

Ernie, Frank, and Bill, wife Blanche (nee Demers) September 23rd, 2005. Survived by sons Raymond (Kathy), Kenny (Beverly), daughter Elaine Nolax (Edmonton) nephew Mickey (Lorraine), four grandchildren, brother in-law Paul Demers (Duncan). He had eight stepchildren in which he kept a close bond. Fern (Gerry) Bouchard, Rose (Len) Turner, Solange

(Kerry) Davies, Denise (Alan) Clease, Leonard (Bonnie) Larose (Illinois), Denis (Rose) Larose,

Laurie (Ann) Larose Gary (Wanda) Larose. Many

extended family and friends, Bev and Alf,

Connie and Kurt, Kit

Morgan, all his friends at his beloved Eagles Lodge Ladysmith Branch. His

coffee friends at Tim

Hortons, Chase River and his favorite restaurant, The Mayflower in Harewood.

Ray was born in Cedar and spent all his life in and

around the area. He worked for the Department of Highways for 36 years in and around BC. He loved fishing, hunting and traveling. He Enjoyed the time spent in son Raymond’s shop, working on and

around cars. The family would like to thank in the Palliative Care Unit of NRGH for there sensitivity and compassion during this difficult time. Also a special thanks to Dr. Calvin for helping us deal with our lost, also thanks to home care nursing early on in his illness, for their very kind treatments.

It was Ray’s wish to be

cremated and no funeral. A gathering to celebrate Ray’s life will be held on Thursday July 6th, 2006 at 1:00PM in the Ladysmith Eagles’ Hall.
