They are together again.
Lilian Dorken (Wilson)
Sept. 9, 1919 – May 29, 2007
Nov. 17, 1917 – Sept. 5, 2008
When Lilian passed away last year, she left behind Richard, her husband of 66 years. Now that he has passed on, they are together again.
Predeceased by their daughter Frances Bishop, they are survived by 3 sons: Greg (Ellie), Derek (Ileana), and Tim (Cathy), 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. After many moves, while Richard served in the Royal Canadian Navy, they finally retired to Sooke from 1965 until 2001, when they were moved to Nanaimo Senior’s Village. On behalf of the family, many thanks are given to the staff of the Senior’s Village for the loving care given to our parents in their final years, and to Telford Nault for his kind and caring attention after their passing. Ashes will be spread at a private service to be held in their original hometown of Galt, Ontario next summer.
