Born August 15, 1947 in Vancouver, BC late resident of Ladysmith, B.C. Richard was a member of the Eagle’s Ladysmith, BC and a chartered member of the Mount Brenton Power & Sail Squadron. He worked for Timberwest, Nanaimo Lakes for the past thirty-five years. Predeceased by his parents William and Isabel MacMillan. Survived by his loving wife of 34 years Lynda. HIs daughter Theresa (Barry) Hartl, grandsons: Dustin and Dylan. Cousins: Fred Davidson of Ladysmith, Russel (Cheryl) Burns of Courtenay. Father and mother-in-law Shorty and Edna Beuselink. Sisters-in-law Delores (Don) Paine and Denise (Chuck) Lumley. Also other family and friends.
A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2002 from 1:00 - 4:30 pm in the Eagle’s Hall, Ladysmith BC. A private family service with interment was held in the Ladysmith Cemetery, Rev. R. Westaway officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
