ROBERT STEWART WILSON
1935-2007
Robert passed away Sunday May 6th, 2007 at Nanaimo hospital at the age of 71. He left behind his wife Pat, his two Sons Stuart and Darrel, along with his daughter in-law Katrina. Also leaving behind his brothers and sisters. Robert was born in Verdun Quebec in 1935. He was a healthy man who loved to drive his firebird and show his sons how a real burn out was done. Robert had a big heart and loved everyone close to him. He welcomed everyone that he met into his life. He helped others before himself. If you needed help he was there, you needed a roof over your head he said come on in. Most of all he made you laugh and feel good about yourself. Robert will be missed and he will always hold a place in our hearts. We would like to thank the staff in the ICU and in the Palliative care unit who made Roberts journey to the mansion in the sky a peaceful one. A service of remembrance will be held at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall on Wednesday, May 16th, 2007 at 12:00 pm for family and friends.
