Passed away in Ladysmith, BC on October 15, 2005 of cancer. Born in Balcarres, Saskatchewan, June 22, 1932. He leaves behind his beloved Nora, his partner of twenty years. Nora was at his bedside along with her daughter Norma Sorrell of Prince George and son Don MacAuley of Saltair and with Robin to the end. Robin always wanted to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for him: Dr. Bowen Roberts and Dr. Putter also in Duncan Dr. Pewarchuk, the nurses and staff of Ladysmith and Duncan Hospitals, so in his place I will say thank you all for him. Also survived by step-daughters: Lorraine Doty of Toronto and Joanne Wilson of Calgary. No service by Robin's request, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
