Ron died at the Lodge at Broadmead in Victoria.
A veteran of WWll he was predeceased by his brother Clifford in WWll (1944), his sister Muriel Hunter Schock in 2006, and the love of his life, wife Barbara in 2003. He leaves his daughter Barbara (Robert), sons Michael (Rob) and Jesse (Teresa), two granddaughters Jennifer and Stephanie, two great-granddaughters Rachel and Genevieve, as well as nieces Joan and Scheryll, and nephews Merv, Doug and Bruce.
An afternoon tea will be held in Ron’s honour at the Lodge at Broadmead November 12, 2010 from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
