April 5, 2005, passed away peacefully in Parksville, B.C. with her family at her side. Born in Nakina, Ontario, December 23, 19215.
Predeceased by her loving husband Emmet and brother Joseph.
Survived by sons: Mark (Kaen), John (Eli), Stephen (Cathy); daughters: Ann (Jim) Nowak, Joan Yaromy, Mary (John) Andrews, grandchildren: Eryn, Lelcie, Katy, Emmet, Christopher, Charles and Olivia, by brother Garry (Kay) Sullivan; sisters Joan (Bob) Chase asnd Maureen (Bill) Grant. Also nieces and nephews.
Leona was a member of The Church of the Ascension and of the C.W.L. Prayers were held Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 7:00 pm in the Church of the Ascension. Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 11, 2005 at 10:00 am, Father Joseph Kobos S.D.S., celebrant. Her remains will be buried in South Porcupine, Ontario.
