Recently retired longshoreman of over 40 years was born to Dora and Ab in Duncan, BC on February 16, 1942. Roy left us too soon, but without pain at his home on May 5, 2005. Roy will be greatly missed by his children: Sharla and Derek (Cheryl), grandson Nathan and his sister Lorraine, Del, many relatives and friends. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the Ladysmith Eagle’s Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roy’s memory to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation c/o Tributes 4480, Rm B-321, Oak Street, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V4.
