It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sedgewick Joseph Barnes at his home in Quesnel, B.C. at the age of 66, on September 7, 2005. Survived by his wife
Dona-Gail and children Louise (Ray), Mark (Leanne), Michaela (Allan), Jeffrey (Brenda) and many grandchildren and sisters Ester and Pat and brothers Art and Ed plus many, many friends. He worked for the Town of Ladysmith, Island Farms and Chemainus Mill plus he was a member of the Ladysmith Fire Department as well as the Ladysmith Ambulance Department before their move to Quesnel, B.C. in 1979. Once there he became a planer millwright for West Frazer Mill Ltd. He was also president of the Quesnel Exhibition and Fair, as well as the president of the local chapter of the Heart & Stroke Foundation for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. He will be greatly missed by Family and Friends. Love yah Dad.
