passed away peacefully in Ladysmith Hospital on?December 23, 2006. Born in Vancouver, BC. on?September 28, 1954.

Predeceased by her father Augustine (Gus) 1995. Survived by her loving husband Andy, son Blair (Kimmell) and grandson Harrison, son David (Fiancee Rhiannon), her mother Emajean Logan, brothers: Mark and Leo, nephew Brandon and niece Valerie, also aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends:?Pam Berto and Barb Bradford and cousin Carol Logan. Sharon moved to the Island at age 10, attended St. Anne’s School in Ladysmith and graduated from L.S.S. in 1972, and in 1973 graduated with her LPN from Malaspina College in Nanaimo. Sharon married Andy in 1975, moving to Victoria for 2 years and starting her nursing career there, then moving to Sand Spit, Queen Charlotte Islands, where she and Andy resided for 6 years and started their family, then moving back to Ladysmith in 1984. She worked for?Dr. C. Fritsch and collegues at the Monkey Tree Medical Clinic for 20 years, where she touched many lives.

Sharon was a dedicated hockey and baseball mom, and enjoyed watching on TV the Yankees and Habs with Andy. Sharon was an avid gardener, enjoyed hunting, fishing, doting on grandson “Sonny”, loved riding the backwoods of Ladysmith looking for wild life, and looked forward to her annual holidays spent at the Company Cabin at 2nd. Lake. No service by her request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Central Island Chapter of ALS Society, Nanaimo, BC would be appreciated.
