SHIRLEY DIANA HAMILTON (nee Munn) April 10, 1949 to June 23, 2007
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, Mom and Nana. Shirley was born 58 years ago in Doaktown, New Brunswick. She passed away after a courageous battle with cancer this past Saturday at Ladysmith Hospital. She is predeceased by her father Kail O. Munn of Fredericton, New Brunswick. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 32 years Ken Hamilton, her children Penny Mrus, Patti (Troy) Forster and Jim Hamilton; her grandchildren Kathryn, Stephen, Hannah, Grace and Isabelle; her mother Marguerite Munn, sister Estella (Brian) MacDonald, sister Diane (Andy Sullivan) and brother Terry (Jennifer) Munn; as well as many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Hatchwell, as well as to the compassionate nurses and staff at Ladysmith Hospital.
A celebration of Life will be held at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of cards and flowers, please make a donation in Shirley's name to the Lodge on Fourth, Palliative Unit, Ladysmith, BC.
