WITCZAK, Stanislawa (Stella)
With great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our Mom, Gramma & Great-Gramma Stella Witczak on February 3, 2013.
Born in Skala, Poland March 12, 1924. Predeceased by her daughter Mary Gresmak and her husband Wawrzyniec (Vic).
Mom will be sadly missed by her children Bill (Shirley), Chris (Ed) Gravelle, Yasha (Bill) Cain, Ed (Ruth); 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and by her great neighbours and friends.
Mom was a long time resident of Ladysmith for 60 years. For many years she was involved with the CWL and attended St. Mary’s Church.
Mom loved staying at home taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great cook and baker, and family dinners were always special around the kitchen table. She also enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower garden.
Mom will be dearly missed.
A service will be held February 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ladysmith.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
