Passed peacefully at the Lodge on 4th with family by her side.
Mom is survived by her seven (7) children: Lucy, Ed (Randy), Irene, Barb (Ray), Ted (Judy), John (Kim), Teresa (Randy). Also survived by fourteen (14) grandchildren, Lee-Ann, Tye, Eddy, Jayce, Daniel, Darren, James, Dylan, Aly, Tara, Meagan, Steve, Stef, Kelly and 14 Great Grandchildren. And also survived by her family members in Poland and the United States and her special friend Frank Defrane.
Predeceased by husband John, son-in-laws Ken and Mark, and great granddaughter Jaedyn.
Mom was born in Poland and came to Canada in 1948. She worked in Victoria and Duncan before settling in Ladysmith, marrying and raising her family. She was a member of The Catholic Women's League and FOE, Ladysmith Auxiliary# 2101. Moms greatest joys were gardening and cooking and sharing her knowledge, love and experience of these with others.
The family would like to thank the Fourth (4th) floor Staff at the Lodge on 4th for caring for mom. Celebration of Life will be held at The Eagles Hall, 921 First Avenue, Ladysmith, April 15th, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
