Thomas Masur passed away peacefully on November 1, 2015.
Tommy, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was born in Kamloops, BC on July 31, 1932.
Tommy spent the last 23 years of his life living in Ladysmith to be with his two children and four grandchildren.
In the last few years, Tommy was a familiar sight on the streets of Ladysmith, always starting and ending his day at his favorite coffee shop, the 49th Cafe, where he enjoyed visiting with staff and becoming friends with the people who frequented the shop.
Tommy is predeceased by his younger sister, Elinor Reynolds. He is survived by his older sister Alma Jaeger, his Children; David Masur and Joyanne Masur, his Grandchildren; Renee and Daniel Masur, Sean and Megan Emmerson. He is also survived by many in-laws and Cousins here on the island and in the Kamloops area.
He will be dearly missed by those who’ve ever come across his gentle spirit.
