Born March 12, 1926 in Liverpool, England, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Hospital on December 10, 2004 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his first wife of 40 years Olive, and daughter Elizabeth. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Doris; sons: David, Paul (Marsha, daughter Joan (John)), grandchidren: Helen, Graham, Mark, James, Darren, Michael and Raymond; and 4 great grand-children. Tom was a veteran and a member of the Black Watch from 1939 - 1945 during WWII. He was also a member of the R.C.L. He loved England and Canada and a “Scouse” until the end. “You’ll never walk alone Tom”. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the R.C.L. Hall, Ladysmith, BC, with Padre Brian Wood officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Legion Poppy Fund, in memory of Tom, would be appreciated.
