Wallace was predeceased by the love of his life Ileen. He is survived by his children: Robbie (Diane) Barrie (Valerie), Brenda, Debbie and Patti (Darrell).
Grandchildren: Michael, Aaron (Diva), Tawni (Mark), Christian (Shauna), Richie (Coryn), Justin (Yvonne), Jason, Scott, Brennen, Jennifer (Dean), Nathan (Alycia), David (Britt) and Lindsay.
Great Grandchildren: Lorien, Emmaly, Jeremy, Tyson, Emma, Jayden, Piper, Marleigh, Maci, Easton Alison and Jayce.
Wallace was born in Comox, BC and lived in Cumberland during his younger years. He then moved to Ladysmith in 1941 at the age of 13. In 1949 Wallace joined the army and served 6 years in Picton, Ontario.
On May 12, 1951 he and Ileen were married. In 1956 Wallace became a longshoreman and retired years later in 1991. He was a Legion Member for 61 years.
