Wilbert REILING

November 11, 1930 – July 17, 2005

Wil passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his father Adam Reiling, mother Mary Schafer and his two sisters Shirley Springer and Tillie Bretell.

Dad will always be fondly remembered with love by his wife of 45 years Doreen, his children Pam Leroy (Darryl), Terry Reiling, Amanda Pagani (Gerrard) and his grandchilden who he adored, Brett, Cole, Morgan, Brittany, Brandon, Tyler, Brock and Marcus.

He is also survived by his two sisters Edna Rattray (Jim), Lillian Mueller (Rudy), brother-in-laws Dale Bailey (Barb), Gary Bailey (Glenda) and sister-in-law Lucille Bailey along with a large extended family and friends. He will always be remembered for his love and devotedness he gave to his family, his love for life and how hard he always worked. There is nothing he couldn’t do or conquer. Golfing was a big part of his life and if he wasn’t at home he would be on a golf course somewhere enjoing the day. The memories will be cherished forever…a day will not go by that he won’t be our ray of sunshine. He will be in our hearts always.

Many, many thanks to Dr. Lisinski and staff and to everyone at Ladysmith General Hospital for providing excellent care for my husband, also father and for the love and compassion we received.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wil’s memory to the B.C. Cancer Foundation with appreciation.

A private family service will be held July 30, 2005 at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.

Grieve not for me

Nor mourn the while,

For happier would I be

To see you smile.

Let no tears fall

Since I have passed away,

But miss me and

Remember me each day.

Live you your lives

As I would want you to,

And treat thy fellowman

As I would do.

And when the time has come,

Your lives be through,

I shall be waiting here

For each of you.
