passed away peacefully in Ladysmith, B.C. on September 4th, 2002.
Born in Mill Bay, B.C., November 19, 1927.
Bill retired from Chemainus Towing (marine) as a skipper after 34 years. He was a member of the Ladysmith Eagles, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Bill was predeceased by his mother Bea Miller, father Jack Miller, sister Bernice Rumley, (Babe), brother Jim Miller, granddaughter Kayla Miller and brother-in-law Jack Donaghy April 27, 2002. Bill is survived by Pat his loving wife of 52 years, sons: John (Jennifer), Wayne, Michael (Lorea). grandchildren: Cory (Debbie), Tanisha & Harley), Stacy (Luke) Copella (Dave); Lora (Allan) and Jay. Sisters-in-law Edna (Shorty) Beuselinck, Loretta (Gordie) Schoonarts, Colleen (Larry) Campbell; Lorraine Donaghy. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held in the Eagles Hall on Sunday, September 22, 2002 from 1-3:00 p.m. Donations to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
