Passed away in Ladysmith Hospital June 17, 2004.
Born in Belfast N. Ireland July 4, 1923, late resident of Chemainus, B.C., former resident of Victoria, Duncan and Crofton, B.C.
Bill Served in the British Army (8th Army Signals occupation of Austria 1945-1947). He retired from Kennametal Canada in Victoria 1987.
Survived by his loving wife of 57 years Mavis, sons: Lindsay of California, Sean of Edmonton and Michael (Anjali) of Victoria, daughter Cheryll (John) Cuyler of Windermere, B.C. Grandchildren: Diana, Jennifer, Keiran, Riley and great grandson Alexander. Also sisters: Katherine Milly and June Fatheringhame both of England.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chemainus Congregational Church, 9910 Esplanade, Chemainus, B.C., Pastor Brian Neslon officiating. (Private interment in the Chemainus Cemetery).
