WHEAT, William Harold
aka “Luke”
William was born on September 13, 1944 in Kimberley, BC. Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2010 at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital after a year long battle with cancer.
Predeceased by his parents Pearl and Herb Wheat.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Wheat; daughter Brenda (Rob) Moore; grandchild James; and brother George (Mickey) Wheat. He also leaves behind many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all that he has touched.
The family would also like to thank all the nurses on the 6th floor at NRGH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
A Remembrance of Life will be held on September 11, 2010 at the Eagles Hall, 921 First Avenue, Ladysmith, BC from 1- 4 p.m.
