I am currently living in a nice home, with plenty of food, a car to drive, and even money left over for a holiday now and again. And yet I find myself looking at the promises of the politicians, and wondering what they are offering for me.
Upon reflection, I really don't need to think about voting to make my life better. But I can think of voting to make life better for people who have not had the breaks I have had, or people who have health problems, or need some compassionate care. And I can think of voting so that we can share with other countries who were not blessed with the resources of my country. Let's think beyond our own self-interests, to make our country better for everyone.
