Editor: On Tuesday, May 31, the Ladysmith Food Bank moved up Buller Street to the new multi-purpose complex. We did this in two stages, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. About 4:30 p.m., a large number of volunteers arrived at the old food bank with trucks and vans, loaded up boxes of food and delivered them to more volunteers waiting to unload and store the food on shelves. At the same time, more volunteers loaded three large freezers, a small one and a fridge-freezer and delivered them.All of this took just over an hour! You are a wonderful lot!
