On behalf of the Directors and Members of the North Oyster/Diamond Ratepayers Association (NODRA), I would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the firefighters and members from neighbouring fire halls that joined with our local North Oyster Fire Rescue team in battling what could have been a disastrous fire within our community.
NODRA would also like to publicly thank Bedrock Redi-Mix, all local farmers and members of the public who likewise, under extreme and hazardous conditions, stepped forward to protect our community during the recent serious fire in a farmer’s field just off Cedar Road on Friday, July 2.
