Ladysmith Secondary’s senior girls volleyball team competed in a tournament in Campbell River this past weekend.

Ladysmith Secondary’s senior girls volleyball team competed in a tournament in Campbell River this past weekend.

They had a strong showing against many provincially ranked teams but ended up on the losing side, despite winning the serving competition.

The team is in a tournament in Victoria this weekend which will help them prepare for the upcoming North Islands to be held at Ladysmith Secondary Friday November 11th and Saturday November 12th.

Schools competing in the North Islands are Ladysmith, Brentwood, Shawnigan, Barsby, Kwalicum, Gulf Islands and Highlands.

The top four teams will move on to the Islands which will be held in Victoria November 18th and 19th.
