Winter weather hits parts of Canada

As some parts of the country brace for cold, parts of B.C. remain warmer than 10 C

A winter wallop hit a wide swath of the Maritimes Friday, shutting schools, snarling traffic and made travel treacherous. Meanwhile, a depression from the U.S. was pouring snow in southern Quebec. Parts of Ontario were also hit by snow.
