The Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce held its Annual General Meeting on April 5 night and elected five people to the board of directors.
Members also paid special tribute to outgoing president and board member Alana Newton.
Nominated as directors for two-year terms are John de Leeuw, CEO, Ladysmith & District Credit Union, John Craig, retired consultant, Peter MacHardy, President, PEMAC and Associates, Jennifer Ostle, Owner, Jennifer Ostle Notary Public and Andrea Rosato-Taylor, Publisher, Ladysmith Chronicle.
The slate of directors is completed by those returning for the second year of their term, including: Jason Kelland, Owner, A&W Restaurant, Millie Stirling, Branch Manager, Waypoint Insurance, Tammy Leslie, Partner, Palmer Leslie Chartered Professional Accountants, Cheri Mactier, Realtor, Re/Max Ocean Pointe and Trent Kaese, Owner and General Manager, Cottonwood Golf Course.
