The deadline is today to be part of Ladysmith’s Guinness record attempt for the world’s largest one day street hockey tournament.
Individuals and teams can register online until midnight at www.ladysmithstreethockey.com or in person at any 49th Parallel Grocery location before it closes.
The event, marking 10 years since the previous record setting day, is being held in downtown Ladysmith this coming Sunday (June 4).
New this time is a Skills Competition, more food, beer garden, music featuring the Hip Replacements and Ladysmith’s Hockey Hall of Fame in Aggie Hall.
No parking is allowed Sunday on First Avenue from White Street to the roundabout.
