The Ladysmith Maritime Society will host their Sealife Celebration on Sunday, August 15.

The Sealife Celebration will be held at the Ladysmith Community Marina from 1 pm to 4 pm. This year’s theme is shells — oysters, clams, crabs, mussels – any kind of shells that can be found in the Ladysmith area.

There will be hands-on touch tank experiences with divers, marine biologists and students, crab identification, a Stz’uminus First Nation language game, sea life games, art projects, science displays and music. There will also be performances by the Salish Young Wolves.
