Free shuttle, mom’s admission kick off at towering Malahat mountain attraction

Skywalk has welcomed more than 550,000 guests from across the globe since summer 2021

Victoria visitors get a free ride, and mom’s free admission, to the Malahat Skywalk this weekend.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, all moms receive free admission with the purchase of one ticket on May 11 and 12.

An array of special food and beverage options at the Tower Plaza – including gourmet smokies on the grill with 20-plus topping options, paninis, chilli, and soups. Softy’s will be on-site serving its popular dairy-free, soft-serve desserts.

The mountainside attraction also offers free shuttle service for the 35-minute drive to and from downtown Victoria on Saturday and Sunday through June. The service shifts to seven days a week starting July 1 through Labour Day Weekend.

With spring in full bloom, it’s a stunning time to experience Malahat SkyWalk from blossoming Arbutus along the elevated TreeWalk, to stunning inlet and coastal views from the 10-storey Spiral Tower, 250 metres above sea level.

The structure offers panoramic views at every level of Finlayson Arm, Saanich Inlet, Saanich Peninsula, Gulf Islands, San Juan Islands, Mount Baker, and the Coast Mountain range.

Situated on the traditional territory of the Malahat Nation, the attraction has welcomed more than 550,000 guests from across the globe since opening in July 2021.
