As a broadcast journalist, writer, producer, foreign correspondent for almost 24 years…. Plus a journalism instructor for 3 years — my job was simple, tell the story… the 5 w’s - what, who, when, where and maybe why…..if applicable. There is no place for opinions. Regardless, times are different. Media today is everything but the kitchen sink. Trying to define the role and purpose of mainstream media is a difficult task. Your editorial is strong and well said… thank you!
