Accident on Salt Spring Island lake kills two

Two men die after being pulled from small lake Tuesday evening

Two men have died after an incident on Weston Lake, just north of Fulford Harbour, on Salt Spring Island.

Barb McLintock of the BC Coroners Service confirms the deaths, but says there are few other details.

Two men in their 20s were pulled from the lake on Tuesday evening.

Both victims were rushed to hospital in critical condition, but could not be saved.

McLintock says more information will be provided when it is available.
