Guilty plea in theft case

Bradley Furlot has pled guilty in Duncan court to a charge of theft over $5,000 from Telford’s Ladysmith Chemainus Mortuary Services Ltd.

Crown prosecutor, Brad Tomlin, said the plea was entered on April 26 and the theft is said to have happened between July 24, 2006 to Nov. 2, 2007.

Tomlin said a sentencing hearing is pending.
