Ladysmith Kinsmen hold food drive Nov. 15 & 16

The Ladysmith Kinsmen are raising money and food for the Ladysmith Food Bank Nov. 15 and 16 at 49th Parallel Grocery.

The Ladysmith Kinsmen are hosting a food drive and hot dog sale this weekend in front  of 49th Parallel Grocery Store in Ladysmith. The Kinsmen will be there Saturday, Nov. 15 and Sunday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all money and food donated will go directly to the Ladysmith Food Bank.

“The shelves are bare right now, so this is going to be a really important food drive,” said Kinsmen member Jim Delcourt.

The Kinsmen will also be selling tickets for a freezer filled with meat to raise money to build a new playground at Transfer Beach.
