It was a slow week for the Ladysmith RCMP between April 19 to April 25.There were a total 66 calls during the six days.Theft:• A 15-ft. boat was stolen from Kulleet Bay on April 21. There were two long-arm downriggers and a 65-horsepower Johnson outboard motor on board the forest-green boat.• If you have had a trimmer taken, the Ladysmith RCMP want to hear from you. A man in his 20s, between 6’2 to 6’4 was reported walking northbound on Fourth Avenue on April 21 with a trimmer. He was wearing a grey jacket and wool cap. Anyone who has their trimmer taken should call the RCMP with the make and model.• A rear licence plate and Valtag was taken off a vehicle at the corner of the Trans Canada Highway and Timberlands Road on April 23.Mischief:• Reports were received that several people were damaging the flower beds at the corner of Roberts and First Avenue on April 24. Police attended the scene and found several bricks removed and smashed on the road. No suspects were found and damage was minimal.
