Nanaimo man wanted by police for gun and drug charges

NANAIMO – Mounties issue warrant for Colin Lamontagne, wanted for possession of drugs and weapons.

Police have issued a B.C.-wide arrest warrant for Colin Lamontagne

Nanaimo RCMP have issue a B.C.-wide warrant for Colin Lamontagne, 39, who is wanted for alleged illegal possession of a loaded handgun and possession of illegal drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

The charges arose from search warrants carried out at homes in Nanaimo and Ladysmith in December, which turned up drugs, firearms and other weapons and stolen property.

Lamontagne is from Nanaimo and has friends and family throughout central Vancouver Island. He is 6-foot-2 and weighs 319 pounds. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and possibly a goatee.
