It is with great sorrow, that we announce Dad’s sudden passing, on January 13, 2006 at the age of 65.
He is predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Evelynne Dawn (1999), and infant daughter Tena Dawn (1967).
Sadly missing him are his children Troy, Tracey and Todd. Daughter-in-laws Janine and Roxanne. Grandchildren: Kayla, Marissa, Joshua, Andrew, Alexandra and Katie. Brothers: Lyle Cornett and Gary Cornett (Darlene), brother-in-law Lorne Richmond (Kaye), sister-in-law Muriel Ordano (Jack), brother-in-law Wayne Richmond (Harmina) and many more family and friends. Dad worked for Domans for 25 years, retiring in 1999, and always had a tale to tell about his longtime friend and co-worker Doug. Dad had a great love for old cars, talked passionately about sports, and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. We will miss him.
A memorial tea will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 1:00 pm, Chemainus Legion, 9775 Chemainus Road.

It broke our hearts to watch you struggle, but find comfort in knowing that you’ve reunited with Mom and are at peace.
