passed away peacefully in Ladysmith, BC, on October 11, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I. July 20, 1942.
Al retired from the Canadian Forces (Army), then worked in Victoria and Nanaimo as a Correction’s Officer for Correction’s BC. He was a member of the Eagles.
Survived by his loving wife Gloria, children: Caroline (Doug) Phillips, Dwayne (Lorna) MacKinnon, Maureen MacKinnon and Brad (Carrie) MacKinnon; 13 grandchildren; step
children: Ryan (Cherie) Yeomans, Brandon (Lynn) Yeomans; 4 sisters: Isabel, Florie, Millie and Betty, also nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Ladysmith Eagles Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
