Anne passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria BC at the young age of 66.
Anne was born on April 16, 1957 in Burnaby BC.
Anne loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladysmith #2101. You could usually see her at the Eagles Hall on a Saturday afternoon or evening attending one of their many events.
She is survived by her children, Lee-Anne Zielke (Perry), Kristy Fink (Tim), her siblings, Kathy Bohmer (Darrell), Dorothy Young (John), John Brown (Sylvia), Wes Brown (Joanna), her grandchildren, Brittney Battie, Sarah Battie, Jaden Zielke, Isla Fink, her great-grandchildren Jordan and Elleanor Zielke and her partner Drew Kopke.
Anne was predeceased by her parents Gordon Brown and Patricia Brown, her brother Robert Brown and her sister Judith Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 28, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
