DADY, Arthur I.
Cherished father, papa and friend passed away peacefully at NRGH, June 22, 2007.
Born August 1920 and raised in Ladysmith, BC. Predeceased by his loving wife, Betty and sister Bethia Griffin.
Art is survived by his daughters, Maria Dady from Victoria, Janice (Fred) Tukham from Ladysmith, Laura (Bruce) Hansen from Ladysmith, and his grandchildren Steven, Jennifer and Megan.
He is also survived by his sisters, Norma Dady, Ruth (Doug) Kilner, Virginia (Budd) Webb, brother Gerry (Marg) Dady and numerous nieces and nephews.
Art was a proud WWII veteran; he was a Leading Aircraftman in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1941-1946. After returning from the war he worked for Crown Zellerbach/Crown Forest as a Blacksmith/Welder until his retirement in 1985. He loved spending time at home on his small farm and in later years did some travelling.
Art will be missed by all those who loved and knew him.
