Born in Sedgley, Staffs England, August 13th 1922. In her 84th year, Celia, with her loving family at her side, went home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Annie Duffy and sister of the late Ted Duffy. Beloved wife of Doug for 61 years. Loving mother to Kevin (Katy), Australia; Anne (Harry), Ladysmith, BC; Philip (Maureen), Georgetown, Ontario; the late Derek, Lindsay, Ontario and Roger (Elizabeth), Ladysmith, BC. Cherished Nana to Jason & Joel; grandmother to Stephen, Bryan, Theresa & Ashly. Cousin of Betty, Audrey, Eileen, Lesley, Judith and Deborah, all of Staffs, England. She will be missed by many who knew her. A Service of Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Chemainus Medical Centre, the Home Support Team and Staff of Chemainus Rexall Drugs for all their help and support.
