David was born in the UK, and immigrated to Canada in 1978 spending the first couple of years in Toronto. He had worked in the graphic arts industry installing and repairing pre-press printing equipment. A job opportunity brought them eventually to Ladysmith in 1994 where he and his wife Sandra bought an existing small print shop, Ladysmith Printers and operated it together for almost a decade.
Another Sandra came into his life in 2003 and became his friend, companion and overseer when the Dementia started to come to light.
Friends who knew David will miss him and remember him with deep affection.
A Celebration of Life is to be arranged at a future date.
