Finally Free. Donald, eldest of three, leaves behind sisters, Jo-Dell (Francois and Laura) Debbie (Tom), Aunt Betty, cousins, and caring friends.
Special thanks to Dr. John Potts and The Rock Christian Fellowship, Ladysmith for reaching out to Don and making him feel like family. Thanks also to Dr. Manhas in Chemainus, the doctors and staff at Nanaimo General Hospital, and Kevin Corbett with his workers from Community Living BC.
A service of remembrance will be held for "Big Don" on Saturday, September 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall, 921 First Avenue, Ladysmith, B.C.
