In loving memory ~
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Don, age 86, loving husband of Bea, for 67 years.
Predeceased by his daughter Debbie Holmgren, parents Fred and Nora and beloved brother Robert, he leaves behind Ken (Holly), Sherri (Ray) and Don Jr (Lores), 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren, and many great friends made during the course of his years as Ferry Captain, trucker and years of volunteering in the community.
A special thanks to the staff of Chemainus Care Home who took such wonderful care of Don for the last 2 years.
Celebration of Life to be at Ladysmith Eagles Hall on March 23rd, 1-4. In lieu of flowers maybe make a donation to the Alzheimer Society.
