Douglas F. Marshall
October 30. 1951 - August 5, 2010
Doug lived the last 18 months of his life with dignity; a man of integrity to the very end.
His body died on August 5th, but his soul has moved on to be with those who have gone before; in particular his dad Bill (1998), and his son Mike (2007).
He is survived by his mom Phyllis, his sister Loree (Gord), his brothers Glen (Candace) and Bob (Lucja), his wife Carry and beloved daughter Kaela. He also leaves his “other daughter” Amanda; nieces (Emily, Xela, Alia) and nephew (Fraser).
The Marshall family extends its thanks to Dr. Manny Fritsch and the palliative home care nurses, who looked after Doug so brilliantly.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel Tabernacle, 4th Avenue, Ladysmith on Friday, August 13th at 2 pm.
If desired, donations may be made in Doug’s name to the Salvation Army.
