MCARTHUR, E. JOHN peacefully at his home in Lake Cowichan, BC on March 24, 2003, surrounded by his wife and loving family. Born in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan August 22, 1930. He worked at Western Forrest Industries until his retirement in 1981. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty, son John Wayne (Inga), daughters: Sandra Kathleen (Garry), Weagant and April Corrine (Dennis) Fothergill, 6 granchildre: Travis, Cody, Jared, Holli, Collin and Katie, 2 brothers: Art (Nellie) and Vernon (Dianna), 5 sisters: Thelma Matson, Jessie (Jack) Shillington, Colleen Boyd, Joyce (Alfred) Friesen and Kathy Lachmanic, also numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend Mr. Carl. A celebrationof life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary
