Suddenly on January 10, 2002 in Port Alberni, B.C. Born April 28, 1917, Yorkton, Saskatchewan, later resident of Ladysmith, B.C., recently of Nanaimo, B.C.
Edith was a life master of duplicate bridge. Predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Nels on June 06, 2000.
Suvived by daughters: Joy (Bill) of Sorrento, B.C., Gayle (Jim) of Port Alberni, B.C., sons Ted (Rosemary) of Campbell River, B.C., Richard (Anne) of Vancouver, B.C., 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also many good friends. Private family Interment in Ladysmith Cemetery, followed by a Service of Remembrance in Brechin United Church, Nanaimo, B.C. on Friday, January 18, 2002 at 1:30 p.m., Reverend Robert (Bob) Gorrie officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nanaimo Stroke Club, 500 Bowen Rd., Nanaimo, B.C. V9R 1Z7. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
