Edward W. HANNING,

Ned passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family on Sat., May 7, 2005, at Ladysmith Hospital. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Grace, in 1989. Ned will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his sister, Joan, his daughters, Maureen Wilson and Ilene Hanning, son-in-law Donald Wilson, grandchildren James and Christine, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ned served as an aircraft mechanic in the RCAF in World War II. After the war, he resumed his work as an automotive mechanic. He was a Life Member of the Victoria Chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada, a Founding Patron of the BC Aviation Museum, and a member of numerous other historical associations.

The family expresses grateful thanks to Mary and Ivan Proud and

their staff of Wing View Seniors’ Home, Ladysmith, and to the doctors and staff of Ladysmith Hospital and Dr. Lisinski.
