Jane’s family affectionately called her Nana. She was very proud of her family and they played a huge part in her life. She could always be counted on to be praying for each and every member of her family. Nana loved to sew and also generously sewed clothing for every member of her family. Her loving involvement with, and care for her family, will be greatly missed.

Jane was an avid gardener. She gardened intensely for 40 years, providing flowers, fruit and vegetables for her family and friends.

Jane’s family wish to thank her doctor of 11 years, Dr. Ken Pettapiece, and the staff of the Chemainus Health Care Centre for their excellent care and support over the past four & half years.

The Celebration of Jane’s life will be held at the Chemainus Calvary Baptist Church, Friday, July 9, 2004 at 1:00 pm.

Donations to the Christian Blind Mission gratefully accepted in Jane’s memory.
