Passed away peacefully in his sleep. Ernie served his country in the Second World War, and carried on to become the owner-operator of several small business ventures. Survived by his son Greg (Dianne), grandchildren: Jessie, Lindsay, Daniel, his daughter Fern (Leroy), grandchildren: Amber and Ben. A heart felt thanks to the nurses at the Cowichan District Hospital and Ladysmith Hospital and the Home Care Support for all their kindness to dad. Also a special thanks to Vetrans Affairs.
