You may remember Evelyn as the original carrier of the Pictorial in Duncan, many other paper routes, homecare and housekeeping in the early 70’s. She also worked in the kitchen at Brentwood College and Kuper Island School. She also drove taxi and worked at Sunbright Cleaners in Chemainus. She loved to win at cribbage and watch a good hockey game (and to her they were all good). She will be remembered for her sharp mind, her generosity and her no nonsense way.
